Just another day...

Another walk another day some random pictures along the way...
A picture with some weight

Believe it or not this picture is not in sepia or edited... its the natural light that gave this colour

and with a little bit of chalk and charcoal you can go back a few hundred years

Festival Time

The festivities started with Ganesh Chaturti and went on till Diwali... the festival of lights, angles and some very interesting things I learnt about exposure. It's very interesting to play around with ISO, aperture and shutter speed ... the Holy Trinity.

Deer Park

It had been a couple of weeks since I'd gotten my camera and because of a multitude of things i just din't have the time or opportunity to take any pictures so one morning i decided to go to Deer Park and see if I could find anything picture worthy there. That place is a treasure trove of things to click ... took me an hour and a half for a walk that would have otherwise taken around half an hour.
There is something about the texture of red brick... always catches my eye

Solo but far reaching

New Camera

Need to cover a small backlog in this walk. I got a new camera, a sweet Canon DSLR and I'm very excited about it. The day I got it, went around the house clicking everything I could focus on.

The first Post

Being the first post as is customary I will start with talking about what this blog is about and how it came into being.

I believe a picture speaks more than a thousand words and enjoy taking photos and uploading them on a regular basis. Often I find myself walking with a camera and find a few decent pictures. Now I tried sharing them through Google+ but found that I wasn't able to express them very nicely so here I am starting a blog to share the walk that is my life.
